Lo...Oh, I could just go on and on about paperdolls! Love, love, love this piece! I used to occassionally get the Betsy McCall paper doll too but you know that magazine was somewhat expensive at the time. That is why it was only occassionally. I had this SO fun paperdoll that my sister made for me. I played with that thing til it got limp. Then, my niece who was a few years younger but not that much younger, got it and tore it up. Waaa! I still remind her of that too. ;)Cindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17098009840935414401noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5664953504426496053.post-46923169319320940172009-02-18T22:54:00.000-06:002009-02-18T22:54:00.000-06:00This is so pretty! I remember the paper dolls fascination; my mother would occasionally pick up a McCall's magazine and give me the Betsy McCall paper dolls that appeared in every issue. I used to BEG her to buy more magazines, but she only bought them once in a blue moon. (Darn, why couldn't she have subscribed?) Fortunately my grandmother had a whole box full of paper dolls that had belonged to my mother and I got to play with them whenever we visited. I guess we never lose our love of dress-up and play acting, do we? :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
