Mini Junk Journal

This little junk journal is made with a jello box 

leftover papers from other projects, junk mail 

and other found paper.

I made a quick flip through video before I gave it away.

This page was an experiment in white space.

I admire pages done this way, so I gave it a try. 

The background it done with Alex Creamy Crayons,

my version of gelatos.

After watering down the crayons, I moved the color across 

the page by blowing through a drinking straw, then

blending with a baby wipe and white paint.

Next, I glued scrappy strips of various typography horizontally across the page.

The butterfly was cut from a stamped image onto cardstock.

The charm was cut from a jewelry catalog.

We would have no beautiful butterflies if they gave up in their struggle.
