I'm playing with Carolyn's Monthly Challenge at A Colorful Journey.
The January theme/challenge is to use something
that would have been thrown away.
This journal page uses some snippets of wrapping paper
with bold text that I found particularly interesting.
Supplies used:
Recycled wrapping paper
glue stick
Dylusions stencil - "Letter Jumble"
Adironcack dabber - "Stream"
white acrylic paint
Neocolors II - red, yellow, orange
Deep Red stamp - "Chicken Wire"
Kaisercraft Stamp - "Tiny Dot'
Ranger Archival Ink
Michael's alphabet stamp set
Michaels mini ink pad
Butterfly stamp from Hobby Lobby

Love your page! What a great idea to reuse wrapping paper and your message is so fitting! Enjoyed watching your process video as well :)
Thank you Zsuzsa for stopping, watching and commenting! :)
Love this! The colour combo set off with the black and white is great and the sentiment is spot on. Contentment is under-rated.
Thanks, Tracy. I agree about contentment.
Thanks for sharing your process and supply list. Especially love the sentiment!
Great sentiment and fabulous journal page!
Very pretty!I like the words you've chosen to use. I'm off to look for more of your videos, too.
:)
Your sentiment is just perfect. It was a great idea to re use wrapping paper, I always keep it ' just in case' this year I've decided is the 'just in case' year when I use all those things I've kept.
