- Being a librarian and having a paper obsession made me a perfect candidate to enjoy this art form. I have access to plenty of books that have served their original purpose and have been discarded. Never fear--only the poor outcasts are used for altering! Sometimes it's the title that attracts me, sometimes the size or shape, or the texture of the pages may hold the appeal. I have several "perfect" books just waiting to be remade into a personal piece of art to treasure.
