More is better

While browsing in my new Paper Crafts magazine yesterday, I found a card layout that I liked, so I created one similar to it. It looks pretty good, don't you think?

..but then...

Then I did a lot of blog-hopping today, riding the One World-One Heart Gypsy Caravan (I'm #566 out of 660...so far....)and saw so much beautiful art work. This evening when I revisited this card, it seemed rather blah, in an unfinished sort of way. so I took it back to the table for some alterations. Now what do you think about it:

As Emeril would say, I 'kicked it up a notch!' "BAM!"

I like both cards; the before and the after. This is a typical issue for me. I make something and have difficulty knowing when it is done, therefore, I have a tendency to never stop adding on to it.

I too like both versions, but I love how you went a little further and added more texture and effects with the stamping :) It sounds like you really enjoyed it too, that's the main thing :)

I like them both as well, but I really like the "more is better" card! I love all the added dimensions and eye candy. AND it's pink! You know me and pink... hehe!

Yeah, the second one has more balance with the added buttons and what is under them. Really pretty card!

BAM! is right. I loved the before and then I scrolled down and loved the after also. It's so nice to find inspirations in blogland. I found your blog through the OWOH and tada your work inspires me.
