A few weeks ago, my daughter and her fiance asked me to take some engagement portraits for them.
Even though it was 110 in the shade (no, really--but we hopped in and out of the cool car a lot.) we had a great time.
Kristin and I didn't get enough of the photo fun, so last Sunday after church (still 110 in the shade) we cooled the car down and snapped a dozen or 90 shots.
Then I started having fun editing them.

Aww, these are bea-u-ti-ful! I especially love the one in front of the doors! That is a lovely picture! I really do think it is 110 in the shade. Last night when I got in my car, it was registering 118 inside it. No end in sight either! Kristin is you all over again! This is a very special summer for the both of you.
She is SO pretty! Love the after church ones, and the engagement ones are done so well. Good job Aunt Lisa!
Hmmm....I thought I left a comment the other day but I see it didn't appear. I'll try again.
Such a beautiful couple! I like that top one because it's such a closeup and they look so happy and healthy and gorgeous. Kristin is going to make a lovely bride, that's for sure!
Your photographs are gorgeous as is your daughter. It's been SO LONG since I've heard from any of the Netchix and I miss you all so dearly! I just wanted to pop over and say HI!
I think starting a photography blog or changing direction w/yours is a marvelous idea for keeping your followings fascinated! Count me in as a fan!
Girlfriend! Not that I do not think these pix of Kristin are beautiful because they are BUT I would like to see a new post show up here soon! Chop chop! Let's see some of your furniture alterations.
