My name is Lisa. I am an information junkie.
Last night I googled dreadlocks.
Yes, you read correctly--dreadlocks.
Why?
Because I just wanted to know how to make them
and the Internet would tell me.
Now I know.
I am addicted to information seeking.
Don't tell me I'm the only one.
What's the strangest thing you've googled lately?
Tell me I'm not the only one.
I do not, nor will I ever have dreadlocks.
:-)

Hahaha! That is hilarious! And oh so very random.
This week I have googled:
- recipes for shrimp fried rice
- recipes for udon soup
- high palates
- reviews for McDonald's Oatmeal
and google imaged:
- McDonald's Oatmeal
- Aaron's priestly garments
- the temple (from Exodus)
Ah, c'mon Lisa, get some dreads! If you get some, I will get some. Probably the oddest thing I have googled lately is "Island of Misfit Toys" from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. That 'dolly for Sue' has always bothered me. What is wrong with her? She looks okay to me. She appears to be a perfectly okay doll. Something I found on the internet suggested that perhaps she was supposed to 'wet' but couldn't. Now, that is a tight spot to be in!
"Sit, Ubu, Sit" because when my students started to line up just before the bell rang, I told them to "sit, Ubu, sit" and they asked why I said that. I told them it was from an old sitcom but I couldn't remember which one it was. Do you? I had to google it to find out.
Linda, is it "Family Ties"? I just remember it is from one I used to watch and "Family Ties" was one I really liked...that and "Alf".
Bingo! Cindy. I loved that show, too, and guessed that but had to Google it to be sure.
I have a running list of subjects to "look up." Some of them are American folk art, children's gardens, posters from photos, yellow rail (a bird), ridign boots, making homemade bird food for woodpeckers, Virginia pine trees, etc. I have a feeling this is why I don't get more done at home! )
