Stepping outside my box today, using a color I rarely, if ever, use--yellow. I started with a chalked background, added two tones of yellow punchinella stencil and some flower stamps. I chose the smug little lady in yellow for the focal point and started adding elements , mostly magazine clips, from there. The rose is a gel medium transfer. The measuring tape is a bit of metal measuring tape that snapped into pieces.

This is so eye-grabbing! I like the frame around the girl; it really sets her off. And I love the bit of music you included here and on many of your pieces. It's like you are so happy doing this that you are singing!
Lisa...this is wonderful. Love how you framed her face and love the colors you have used :)
Lisa!! How inspiring! Lovely pages and so many eye-catching details. I'm still trying to decide on a colour I never use, but I like them all really... hmmm, though I do dislike pink! ;-]
The most interesting aspect of your piece to me is that the text is about Richard Nixon who probably had more secrets than any other American President ever. Again, your artwork is thought provoking. That is the common thread I see in all of your designs and the part I particularly appreciate the most.
I love it! :)
