As promised, I am posting the layout I did for
Tammy's book. In our Round Robin, we are doing board books with each participant choosing her own theme. Tammy's book is called "Cozy Cottage." The book even has a bit of a house shape to it. When I was thinking through my interpretation of cozy, I kept coming back to nests and mothers. This is how I portrayed those cozy thoughts in collage:
Whether you are the child of a human or a baby bird,
whether you live in a house or a nest,
when it comes to cozy creature comforts,
HOME is always best. **
**I wrote that as one line, but when i discovered it rhymed I turned it into a poem! I'm a poet and didn't know it!! :)

Oooh! I love it! Can't wait to see it in person. Great interpretation!
This is awesome...of course all your art is. Your grandson is adorable. I am so glad he is doing better
Wonderful interpretation of cozy cottage! Even little birdies have their cozy cottages too!
I like your poem. :)
This is so sweet--how you keep turning out such interesting and beautiful work is beyond me. What a gift!
I always enjoy your visits at my place. Thanks for dropping by.
I couldn't resist seeing this before I see it on person. As always you did an outstanding job. I was late in mailing my book out, but it went out today in the mail. Sorry, it's difficult at best for me as I am without a car at this time so mailing and shopping are usually scheduled.
This is gorgeous, Lisa! I wish we could see all of the books up close and in person when they are finished! At least we can enjoy the photos! What a wonderful RR!
