One of the last things my altered books get is the cover art. I have another book almost finished, so it is time to start thinking about the cover. Only I really didn't have an altered book cover in mind when I did this little piece. And I really didn't have a cover in mind when I ran across this little piece the other day while searching for something else. But there it was. And there was the book I was working on. Side by side. Hmmmmm. A perfect fit. So these little dressed up girls will grace the cover of a finished book real soon. Now, for the book's title..........maybe I'll stumble upon that too!

Aw how cute! These little girls are precious!
Beautiful finish to your book Lisa :)
Love it! Why not title the book "All Dressed Up?"
Super beautiful! My memory is very long. I remember once in a land far away and long ago, you made a valentine bag with hearts on it of those same shapes. I believe you dressed up those hearts with sequins. Do you recall that? I think you won an honorable mention for that bag. Told you my memory was very long...
You do such a great job at layering! Love it! Sorry, can't help you with a title; I'm terrible at them!
Hi Lisa...thank you for joining my blog followers list. I have been slow in making blog visits but am trying to make up time now that I have finished with the altered art program I was so busy with (145 lessons busy, lol). I was intent on graduating from it so gave it my all including a lot of blog visiting time. I was relieved to finish it. Speaking of finishing...one of the last times I was here was when you were finishing the cabinet you found by the roadside(or dumpster?) I believe!! I love what you have created with your altered book art. These pieces are so excellent. I have been on your followers list for awhile so I hope to do better with my visits so I can see all the gorgeous projects you are working on. Be well. Hugs, Gayle.
Wow, so pretty! What a great use for those little girls from the Mind Wide Open challenge. I've used that image myself a couple of times since, but not to such wonderful effect! Nice job.
What a beautiful background!
