deja vu

I have a confession to make.
In doing so, I may ruin it for you too.
But I have to get it out there.
My apologies in advance.

A few days ago, I saw the nifty burlap/tulle flower thingies and made some for my candles.
They were fun to make. I was pleased with the outcome.

Here's the problem:  Every time I see them, they conjure up an image of something else.
Something long forgotten--or so I thought.
Some tacky jewelry that I may or may not have once worn.
That I may or may not still own.....
So to try and purge it from my mind, I decided to confront it
I dug way down in my jewelry dungeon......

........and found them.......

Tell me, do you see the resemblance?

So what am I supposed to do now, for pete's sake??

Nothing. You are comparing apples and oranges, these are candles, the jewelry seems to be telephones. haha
The Wise One
p.s. I can see where it might have reminded you though.

Oh, this is so funny! I love how the mind puts things together like that! You know what I think made you make that connection is the fact that there are both bigger ones and littler ones in both sets? I must say, I like both items, the candles and the pins! Subconsciously, you love this design!

I don't think I'd do anything. If you like the jewelry, it's a great memory trigger for the candles.

I see what you mean LOL, they do look a lot like your jewelry.
If you still can't live with them after a week or so, I say decorate your candles with something else. Just my opinion, be true to yourself :)
